Baalbeck
Joseph Kai is an artist and author working across comics, installation, and publishing. His practice engages documentation and speculative fiction to explore intimacy and transformation through layered forms of visual storytelling. A member of the Samandal Comics collective, he published his debut graphic novel Restless in 2022 with Casterman and Street Noise Books. His work has recently been presented at the Sharjah Biennial 2025, Galerie Anne Barrault, the Institut du Monde Arabe, and the Beirut Art Center.
